DC Virunga Women’s Team Remains Hopeful for Quarterfinals in Coupe de Congo 2023

After two tough losses in the Coupe de Congo 2023, the DC Virunga women’s team is remaining hopeful for their chances to advance past the group stage and reach the quarterfinals. “In the first game and the second game, we struggled with physicality and height, as most of the teams here are taller and stronger than us,” said Coach Kevin. “But we are not giving up hope. We need to win the next game against PJB Leopard in order to qualify for the quarterfinals.”
